The second week of Season of Magic for Get Messy Art Journal has found me with a lot more time on my hands for working in my journal and for creating Magic.
I kept this first page super simple with one of my project life cards by Vanessa Documented. I love this kit and this quote was just perfect for this week. I got to play with my gold sprays again this week which is always good fun.
I recently bought a copy of Pop magazine and it has a whole photo spread of lovely woody gothic wonderfulness which I am sure I will be using lots of during this season of Magic. I love to use magazine pages in my art journal it can add a lot to your pages with very little effort. Drawing is not my strong point so I'm happy to play to my strengths.
There was much discussion this week about what we would and would not allow our children to read. My daughter is only six so we are not quite at the stage where she is reading independently but I feel that this page pretty much sums up my parenting strategy for when that time comes.
That come little children spread gives me shiiiivers!
